Ray, that's true, they do say that. I guess I am just a bit paranoid
about my comments! The other problem I have with Disqus or
IntenseDebate is that the theme styling has to be adapted to handle
their inserted HTML elements.

I just installed ID on 4 of my sites and I think I like it . It was my understanding however, from the ID support site that all comments (old and new) that are imported into ID can easily be exported back to WP if we want. Is that not your understanding?
