So, you finally switched to a Mac?
December 1st, 2010 by ravi

Apple has a couple of great pages (1, 2) for switchers. What they fail to tell you about are the great non-Apple apps that make the Mac experience a worthwhile switch. So, here they are (at least some of them):

All of them are free. One or two are ad-supported.

Nice stuff man. Damn useful. Am now installing Cloudapp, Carbon Copy, Drawberry, Dropbox, Jumpcut, Pester, TrashMe & Wundelist.

Hey, but many of these apps are available on Windows, so while they may indeed be useful on a Mac, they aren’t something that should entice anyone to switch. (Although, they would also not hold anyone back.)

    tsk tsk. ;-)

Christophe, true for Dropbox, Evernote, Handbrake but for the others all Windows offers are poor imitations (e.g: Pidgin, Digsby etc in comparison to Adium). Of course that’s just opinion :-).

But I wasn’t trying to say these are reasons to switch. But once you have done the switch, these are apps you should consider (well perhaps not DockLibrary, but I am a sucker for eye candy!).
