Rodomontade is my casual take at a “vanity” home page. You know, the sort of thing you throw up at an indifferent world that refuses to acknowledge your varied talents :-).
I use SlideDeck to setup a set of slideable sections that you can use to describe your various activities. In the first release, usage is not the most user-friendly, but it is not very difficult either:
- Click on the Download link to get yourself a copy of the template. Copy over the files to the top of your website.
- Edit the file
config.php to your liking.
- Create files under the directory
sections one for each slide that describes your life. There are some sample files in there that you can use as examples.
All of the code and design is released under the GPL and you are not required to retain the credits at the bottom. If you do use the template, I would really love to hear from you.
As with my other stuff, the code is on GitHub and you are encouraged to fork it and hack away if you are so inclined.
